Welcome to the Club!
Bowmen of Furness operate as an open club meaning anyone with an active GNAS membership can use the facilities at a small cost.
We are located at Chetwynde School in Barrow-in-Furness
Bowmen of Furness was founded in Autumn 2012 to improve the accessibility of the sport within the Furness area of Cumbria. The founding members came from Vickers archery club with a passion for the sport and a belief that larger premises were needed to allow more people to experience the sport.
We have both indoor and outdoor ranges.
The club shoots indoors most Friday nights 6pm to 9pm. The outdoor range is usable the same times weather permitting.
We can cater for all forms of target archery and ability, all the ranges are wheel chair accessible.
